Ever since he was a young boy closing his eyes, and imaging asteroids colliding together was the dream of his life. He didn’t choose to take up art until he was 15, and it changed his life like a fairy tale. At end of his freshman year, Milton was accepted into ACES: Educational Center for the Arts and views that place as heaven. He was able to explore Drawing, Painting, Printmaking, Black and White Photography, Digital Photography, Sculpture, and Videography around that time he began to fall in love with Surrealism and Fantasy. Landscapes that defy gravity, planets that steal from others gravitational pull, and poisonous atmosphere that no can breath this is what allowed him to create his own galaxy. After graduating high school he still loved creating create outer space it’s almost like it’s imprinted on him.

Artist Statement

For as long as I can remember I’ve always dreamed of traveling the vast wasteland of deep space seeing from the point of view asteroid looking at other planets, seeing landscapes that haven’t been plagued by chemicals, and seeing a planet die on its own. I made up these worlds because I wanted to escape the tragic reality that was my life to create worlds where I can be myself, and only my creations can judge me. The subject matter I enjoy tackling is landscapes, however, my landscapes don’t show any signs of life because I’ve had this theory about organic life on planets “What happens to a planet when humans and animals are not inhabiting it”. So far from creating these five pieces, I’ve learned that a planet can live or die with or without inhabitants, but it all depends on how the creator made the planet.
